About

Sneaky Bastard is a surveillance software for Mac OS X. Its goal is to add a security layer to Mac notebooks that’ll enable the owner to monitor physical access on the machine. Ideally, even after the event of theft. This is done by using the iSight camera to grab “user” snapshots on various system events (when macbook lid is opened or screensaver is interrupted). If network is found, snapshots will be emailed to a pre-specified address.

Sneaky Bastard is currently under development and is the first Cocoa project of Krist Menina. To know more about the author, visit his homepage.

Sneaky Bastard is free and open source software licensed under GNU Public License version 2.
